How old does my dog need to be to attend daycare?
Dogs need to be at least 10 weeks of age. The sooner they come the better!

My puppy isn't fully vaccinated yet; is that okay?
Puppies must be up to date on their vaccinations based on their age. By 17 weeks your puppy should be fully vaccinated. It is critical to start socialising your puppy ASAP to reduce chances of behavioural problems later in life.

What if my dog doesn't pass their assessment day?
The majority of dogs that come to Playcare pass their assessment with flying colours! Some dogs find it more difficult and will need some frequent visits to help them settle in. On rare occasions we may recommend that your dog isn’t ready yet for the daycare environment and we can recommend training options to help them progress.

Can I watch my dog play?
Unfortunately owners can’t watch their dogs in the daycare environment. You are welcome to tour the centre prior to your dogs first visit. We also post daily photos on facebook and regular instagram updates so you can see what your dog gets up to!

why does my dog need to wear a collar?
Dogs must always be wearing a well fitted collar so we can easily grab the dog if need be; such as when we move the dogs to different play areas throughout the day. Harnesses cannot be worn as they can be bulky and could easily get grabbed or accidentally stuck on another dog.
